    The Role:

    Works with the Liturgy coordinator(s) to choose appropriate places for corporate singing, or other musical elements

    Chooses a thoughtful selection of songs and musical moments for the service

    Takes responsibility for recruiting musicians from a variety of co-sponsoring churches to help lead the musical elements of the service (either as a group, or delegated to leading different parts of the service)

    Schedules and leads an appropriate number of rehearsals before the service

    The Role: Recruits the following leaders, or takes the role themselves.

    Parking Coordinator

    Recruits volunteers from a variety of co-sponsoring churches to populate the Parking team

    Creates a parking plan for the service, giving special attention to handicap parking, young families, and the elderly

    Leads the parking team in an orientation prior to the service

    Volunteer Coordinator

    Recruits volunteers from a variety of co-sponsoring churches to welcome people to the service, coordinate seating and exit from the service, and manage any logistical elements during the service (offering, etc.)

    Ensures the worship space is cleaned after the service. 

    Fellowship Coordinator

    Recruits volunteers from a variety of co-sponsoring churches to prepare and serve snacks after the service

    Ensure the fellowship space is cleaned after the service

    Audio/Visual Coordinator

    Recruits volunteers familiar with the Audio/Visual setup of the hosting church to work closely with the Music and Liturgy coordinator to address any tech needs for the service

    Live-streams or records the service for a later release

  • The Role:

    Offers a short reflection based in a biblical text decided in collaboration with the Liturgy Coordinator(s) and that is in alignment with the spirit of the Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service
