Our Dane County community is complicated, with Madison often making the lists of “Top 10 Places to Live",” and yet also having high disparities regarding health and education across racial lines. We’re a highly academic area and have been called “post-Christian soil",” and yet also we see a thriving body of churches. We have almost 5,000 nonprofits in Dane County and yet still plenty of needs not being met.

The story of how Collaboration Project started is entwined with countless peoples’ stories who have longed for greater unity and community transformation in and through the local church in Dane County. In May of 2019, Collaboration Project was launched by Jon Anderson, our executive director, alongside a team of prayerful supporters, local thought leaders, and ministry professionals. You can read his expanded and personal account below, as well as find our annual reports highlighting our ministry accomplishments over the last four years.
