FAQs

  • A community partner is an organization or place that your church supports or engages with semi-regularly. Oftentimes, these are schools or community centers. For the purpose of Love Dane, we just ask that the partnership is local and community-positive.

  • Churches can opt to be involved in one of three ways:

    • Partner Church - Coordinating a worksite at your community partner’s site. Bring enthusiasm, coordination, and volunteers.

    • Supporting Church - Work with a Partner Church to support that community partner. Bring enthusiasm, support, and volunteers.

    • Volunteering Church - Get your church out to serve either by identifying a worksite that your congregation will serve at, or by encouraging folks to go and serve at whichever site is closest to home.

To get involved, fill out the form at the top of this page, or email Becca at becca@collaborationproject.us

  • Yes! If your church doesn’t officially get involved as a Partner Church, Supporting Church, or Volunteer Church, you are absolutely still welcome to volunteer! The more, the merrier!

And, if participating this year gets you stoked to get your church involved in the future, you can help us get connected with your ministry leaders for next year!

  • Thanks to business sponsors for this event and our sustaining donors, we’re able to coordinate this event at no cost to churches.

(Love Dane was called “For Dane” in past years, but in an attempt to emphasize the importance of mutuality and being with rather than doing for others, we renamed the united week of service.)
