This season of anticipation is different than years past. Instead of filling sanctuaries with songs, we are singing along with virtual services in our living rooms. Yet this necessity to keep our physical distance has encouraged closer relationships among congregations.

2020 has given us the gift of creative collaboration for the good of our city.

The Advent Adventure (read more about this Christmas experience) is one example of churches working together to bless the community with a safe way to celebrate Christmas. Enjoy this glimpse of wonder, a photo essay capturing a few of the lovely light displays inviting you to “come experience the story of waiting, hope, expectation, and ultimately, God’s presence in the birth of Jesus Christ!”

These photos capture four of the seven displays, leaving you the opportunity to experience the wonder of the whole adventure through January 6, 2021.

We invite you to partner with us in telling stories that highlight how God is working in and through the local church by supporting Collaboration Project today.
When you give to Collaboration Project by December 31, 2020 your gift is
matched up to $10,000.
