August Update

Rest and Renewal Retreat at Governor Nelson State Park

Rest and Renewal Retreat at Governor Nelson State Park

Moving toward the fall, we’re looking for new ways to collaborate in this season.

SCHOOLS PARTNERS

We are encouraged to witness stories like the Madison West High Area Collaborative as local churches serve their school partners to provide food pantry space, grocery delivery, and rent assistance.

Join us for the Church + School Virtual Affinity Group to hear this amazing story and consider how your congregation might serve local schools.

PASTORS/CLERGY

Rest and Renewal Retreat

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting the first Rest and Renewal Retreat for local ministry leaders.

Far too many pastors face exhaustion, discouragement, and general burn-out. We see healthy and connected pastors/clergy as foundational to collaboration between churches.

This fall, we plan to host two additional, 10-person, one-day retreats for Dane County pastors on September 25 and October 16.

We invite you to join us.

Do you have a pastor you’d like to invite? Let us know.

announcing our partnership with upper house

This fall we are hosting a Learning Cohort at Upper House on the book and video series, The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby.

Our hope is that this cohort will gather a small group of Dane County pastors/clergy to engage in intentional discussion of Tisby’s book to confront complicity in the American church, with the aim to further advance the local church toward reconciliation.

We hope you can join us for one of these events.

Collaboration like this is not possible without your support.

DOUBLE YOUR DONATION

DONOR UPDATE: $5,000 MATCH!

We’re grateful to announce that an anonymous donor agreed to match up to $5,000 in gifts through the end of September.

Would you join us by donating to CoPro?

We rely on donations to carry out our mission #soallmayflourish

Thank you for your support. Please let us know how we can support you in this season too.

In hope,

The Collaboration Project Team
