How do I participate?

  • Walk near where you live, work, or worship, and let what you see on your walk inform what you pray about. These can be solo walks, in small groups, or through a coordinated effort put on by a church.

    Church-led prayer walks you are welcome to join:

    • Sunday, April 26 at noon at Madison Christian Community

    • Sunday, April 26 at 4:30pm at Orchard Church

    • Saturday, May 2 at 10am at Fountain of Life Church

    • Saturday, May 2 at 12pm at New Beginnings Alliance Church

    So that we can see the momentum of these prayer walks, we’re using an app to show what parts of our community have been prayed over so far.

    Register below/commit to walking and you’ll receive instructions about the app and best practices for prayer walks.

  • Attend a community-focused prayer event led by a local church:

    Wednesday, April 29

    • 7pm at the Church at Christ Memorial (2833 Raritan Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711) Join for an hour of praise and prayer! We will begin with singing praises and then have various prayer stations that you can pick and choose from. Experience different ways to pray or pray silently or with a close friend. We will close together in worship.

    • 7pm at Geneva Campus Church (401 N Blackhawk Ave, Madison, WI 53705), partnering with Centro Cristiano.
      Join us for an hour of bilingual prayer and worship through singing! Both Centro Cristiano and Geneva Campus Church will be hosting this gathering to pray as a large group for our community in both Spanish and English.

    Thursday, April 30 6-8pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran - Verona Campus (7291 Hwy PD Verona), partnering with St. James Verona. Labyrinth Prayer Open House with guided prayer prompts.

    Friday, May 1

    • 6pm at Westwood Christian Church (5210 Odana Rd, Madison, WI 53711). Join for an hour of worship and prayer. We will use Jeremiah 29:7, thematic worship songs and prayer prompts to focus us on praying for our city, community and neighbors.

    • 7pm at New Culture (301 S Bedford St #219, Madison, WI 53703).

  • We will send out short daily emails during United Week of Prayer containing focused prayer prompts and requests. Sign up to receive these emails.

    The first daily email will come Sunday, April 26 and the last will come Saturday, May 2nd.
